Week 5

Unfortunately I went another week with out Herbalife.

But with the help of some new friends who have been teaching me new recipes and cooking for me. I gained weight this week!!!

Woohoo!!!

Right at this very moment I am putting an order in for Herbalife.

This week I tried not to stress to hard that I did not have my shakes. I made sure to just keep healthy and keep eating and enjoy life.

I think that is another thing that can hinder whether you lose, gain or maintain weight. If you stress over it to much and over think it.

Trying to make this not only a routine but just fitting it in my life as if it is a perfect piece to my puzzle.

It was so nice to just focus on my life and family rather then stress over gaining. Still enjoying my day to day.

I do need to get back into working out. But all in all it is just nice to have come back down from this stress of gaining. To just hanging out with my family and making new friends and still having time to be me and not be lost inside my head.

So keep up with family and friends and enjoy life as you work on weight. Don't let it stress you out.

You want to still enjoy being yourself and slowly merge into the new self that you are becoming week to week.

So today I am 111.4lbs.

Once again no pictures. Hopefully next week I can get back in that.

I have check out this site called

http://www.babyfitgym.com

They have work outs for parents that you can do all while holding and interacting with your baby.

Great great stuff. I am definitely going to incorporate that into my workouts.

Home Maker

So I think I want to be a homemaker.

I really do want to!

I miss soon my daughters hair before school. I miss sitting down and doing home work with her.

Planning and doing dinner is so much easier when you aren't tired after work.

By the time I get home I am exhausted and still need to clean dishes, do laundry, wait for the kids to get dropped off, nurse  Josh or pump, make my daughter an after school snack. Then prepare dinner while my daughter begs for my attention...which by the time dinner is done and ready I am to tired to play.

It's frustrating. I love both my children so much and want to give them equal love and attention. As a newborn Josh def. need more attention but as he has grown he does well in his own for moments at a time that I could play a few rounds of Othello or Candyland or read with Jazmine. Something...anything is better then not feeling like I want to move a muscle for her when I am done with everything in the house.

I feel my paycheck really doesn't do much to contribute to income.

We buy food for meals which gets wasted when we don't cook because we are to exhausted and then order out.

I have to purchase storage bags for my breast milk, Pay for a babysitter, Justin splurges on meals since we don't pack lunches (to tired and yes lazy), I lose money on days the kids are way to sick to sen to babysitter. We are just starting to break even.

So we are going to start working on living off one paycheck.

We have read the book -Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey-

We are trying to budget and we have been living below our means and we are going to def. start living far below our means for the most part.

So our plan,up until Josh turns one in October, is to use my check as babysitting money and what ever is left over goes to a separate account. We will direct deposit it some place else.

We will save money and learn to live off o one income.

I wish I could start staying home now. It's summer time and it would be nice to spend more time with the kids especially Jazzy. She wants to go to the library everyday and park everyday. And we just can't fit that into everyday.

We will also save more money during the summer because my daughter will be spending alot of this summer with her father.

So hopefully this summer we will learn and work on how to live off of one income.

Have you tried?

Did you do it before or after you had kids?

Was the transition easy?

Any hints or tips on how to save and keep going with out going under?

A spur of the moment hike!

I woke up this morning with my son very early and then headed to work. No other plans for the day other then to get an electric breast pump.

After picking up Jazzy from school my friend was going to go hiking with a new friend of hers.

I didn't want to waste away the day inside. The weather was a lovely and I made a spur of the moment decision to go hiking as well.

I was not fully prepared as the weather became chilled quickly...and defiantly was not prepared for the hike that was soon to come.

With my Ergo baby carrier I was able to conquer the hike and the insane steep steep incline of a massive rock.

I made it to the top of the Chickies Ridge rock near the Susquehanna River. It was a great triumph and my daughter even made it to the top as well. Nervous scared and cold but she fought through and hiked like a pro!

Here are some pictures from the spur of the moment hiking adventure.
