Barbie Dolls wedding dresses

So my daughter and her best friend like most girls have barbie dolls.

I like to make things and I am rather crafty.

I also very much dislike most modern barbie doll clothes. They are not very modest and horribly portray girls and/or women. So I have had fun making clothes for my daughter and her many Barbies.

Recently her best friend received a new barbie and both girls begged me to make  their Barbies wedding dresses

So here they are...

DRUM ROLL PLEASE

I did not make a tutorial on this. I did not have time. Plus it was a spur of the moment thing. Literally took my all from 8:30am-1:30pm to finish. My son was crawling on me and wanting my attention...because he always wants my attention when he seems to see that I need to focus my attention else where. Any other day he would just enjoy playing by himself.

Anyways here is a link to my no sew barbie clothes.

These wedding dresses were sewn though.

CMYK WEDDING!!!!

My lovely newly wed sister and my new brother in law designed a wonderful wedding for themselves based off of CMYK.

If you are not familiar with that, you will be by the end of this post.

For the paste 8 months or maybe more they have been personally designing and hand making everything for there wedding along with help from or family and friends.

CMYK is used in printing cartridges, so they are around this all day everyday as graphic designers.

They incorporated this into their wedding as the main theme and went above and beyond with a DIY wedding.

My Aunts and I also teamed up and made 1000 paper cranes for the wedding. Well..., over a thousand because John my sisters husband also tries to make some CMYK ones as well. So luck and a wish has been granted upon them!

It was hard to picture all of it together but once you see it is just perfect! The colors just POP and work together so well.

Our family and friends came together and busted their tushies and helped make this wedding possible. Helped make it beautiful and so many memories will be cherished!

So here are a few photos of the process and all this together created the most beautifully personalized designed wedding I have seen.

And once again
Congratulations to you both. We love you so very much!
