CMYK WEDDING!!!!

My lovely newly wed sister and my new brother in law designed a wonderful wedding for themselves based off of CMYK. 

If you are not familiar with that, you will be by the end of this post. 

For the paste 8 months or maybe more they have been personally designing and hand making everything for there wedding along with help from or family and friends. 

CMYK is used in printing cartridges, so they are around this all day everyday as graphic designers. 

They incorporated this into their wedding as the main theme and went above and beyond with a DIY wedding. 

My Aunts and I also teamed up and made 1000 paper cranes for the wedding. Well..., over a thousand because John my sisters husband also tries to make some CMYK ones as well. So luck and a wish has been granted upon them!

It was hard to picture all of it together but once you see it is just perfect! The colors just POP and work together so well. 

Our family and friends came together and busted their tushies and helped make this wedding possible. Helped make it beautiful and so many memories will be cherished!

So here are a few photos of the process and all this together created the most beautifully personalized designed wedding I have seen.

Friday!

So today is Friday!

The start of this week was not fun at all. Today I think has been the best day of this week and to top it off!!' ----> it's FRIDAY!

Anyways

Monday was ruff. Because while after feeding my son during one of his nightly feedings and changes I smashed my knee up against my dresser handle. And it swelled up and was so very painful. I had to call off work. That is something in hate doing!

So my knee has been rather achy all week and its something that is hard to let heal when I am always using it.

Plus with a 6 month old I don't get time to rest even at night, since ya know they wake up to eat haha!

But last night I was able to get 4hours of sleep. And I feel amazing!

I have been working on "dreaming feeding" where I will pick my son up and feed him while he is still asleep and he will still try and search and latch on but stay sleep. And it was been helping so much!!!

I really prefer not to sleep train. They get the most outta a night feeding. Nutrient wise and comfort wise. Time to bond. 

Update! This should have been posted a week ago. But things have gotten so busy. 

My sisters wedding is this coming up weekend and things are coming down to crunch time. 

That along with trying to care for both my kids as well as continue nursing my son and also trying to keep house clean and work has taken a lil toll on me. Mostly the kids and work haha!

I love my kids more then words could express but the first few months of infancy is a changelle. 

All in all it has been busy and I haven't had as much time as I hoped to make posts weekly. 

But in time I think there will be more frequent posts from about my family and I.

6 Months Old Today!

Six more months and my lil dragon man will be 1 year old!

It has been a month since I have posted anything. We have been busy trying to get our new apartment all organized and purdy. Haha!

Our new place is wonderful and spacious and has just been grande thus far!

Jazmine loves her new room. We love our new room and definitely love our kitchen and all the space we have now. Though the space got a lil small when we went and purchased a portable washer and dryer.

The portable washer and dryer has been amazing! We bought the sonya large size dryer and the washer <----LIFESAVER! It has been so nice not having to lug my kids and laundry to the laundromat and back and up and down stairs! So nice!

Update and baby J. He has started rolling and giggling and he can hold onto objects and reach for them. He is teething and it looks like his bottom left front tooth will be the first to pop through.

Jazzy is still growing smarter and also an amazing big sister. She calms him down with toys and his binky and will sit with him and read him books. She loves trying to hold him and wants to play with him and show him everything. She has truly been great with her lil brother.

Justin and his fish tank have been awesome! Haha! Everyone loves the great job he does with it. It is beautiful!

Not only that two of our ghost shrimp are pregnant. We transferred the lil ladies to another tank to have there babies safely. So we are awaiting the birth of shrimp.

Our new place has been less stressful and less cluttered for the most part! Haha! Working on space saving ideas and slowly working on decluttering all my things. I have alot of little things. Haha! Justin's says I have a problem with collecting papers. I do I do! *softy shakes head in hands*

Well anyways other then my growing kids I have been trying to work on braiding my hair every week day for the rest of the month. Everyone at work loves all my different braids and styles. It has been alot of fun. And alot of work. I am running outta ideas. I have been braiding it on some weekends but its my usually my days of rest.

I haven't taken pictures mostly because I can never get a good angle of it or good lighting. I have had a few customers take pictures though.

I am going to also try starting up my vintage looks again. I am very excited to start that. The ladies at work are excited as well.

Well below are pictures of the washer and dryer we had purchased. Which reminds me I need to add reviews to the sites I bought from. Might wait see what our electric bill looks like haha! Most reviews said there wasn't a big change.

The Move! Oh and a bridal shower!

So we are finally moved into our new apartment.

I was a very interesting ruff move but we are moved.

The new place is in downtown Lancaster, Pa which gets busy especially on market days. Where parking is metered and scarce. Then we really only had a few Sundays to move since that's the only day we are both off.

So we found sitters (even at that instill had to take time pump milk sry TMI to those who are sensitive to breastfeeding) and borrowed a truck and got packing and moving.

Some friends and family pitched in and helped a few days that was so great and beyond helpful even if it was just and hour or so it made a big difference.

Durning all this moving and packing and before we were approved for the apartment I was in the process of planning and hatching a Bridal Shower for my sister.

It was a surprise as well and the bridesmaids and we were busy busy.

So my final weekend if moving was also the weekend for the shower.

It was busy and hectic but it was a blast.

She was clueless and it turned out so great. She was very surprised and we had a great turn out of friends and family.

So after all that Justin and I had one last day to finish packing and moving.

I woke up that day with a sore throat and felt so sick and weak. I was so upset but I had to keep going. My auntie brought medicine since ours was packed up and I got a pep in my step and hauled arse! Haha

So below are the pictures I promised - this is our apartment empty. You don't want to see it at its current boxy stage. I will show you it filled with our things after it is all unpacked.

Also another huge crazy factor in all this was moving our fresh water fish tank. Transfers in fish and live plants was a project in itself. And I am glad all the fishes survived the travel...so far. Not sure how they are adjusting but I know they are stressed a good bit.

All in all it was a good weekend. We are moved and we got to enjoy sleeping input new place.

Jazmine was even more excite because she got a new bed and a bigger room. She didn't see the apartment until last night so it was a fun surprise for her.

New Apartment!

Today is a great day!

Yesterday Justin and I signed a lease to our new apartment.

Another rather unique apartment.

It's nice and close to the downtown area and right next to our Central Market. Easy access to fresh produce!!!

It is a very spacious apartment with a lil balcony and a good amount of storage space and closet space.

A bigger kitchen! With room for a small table and chairs.

Things are looking up!

Now we are calling around to try and seek friends and family that can help us move.

I also need to make a list of things we will NEED for our new place.

I will be posting picture updates later.

Tooth Fairy

Today my daughter lost her very first tooth!!!

Wow she is growing up so fast!

Next is puberty...OH...NOOOO!!!

So WOW it was kinda hard trying to explain to her why she lost her tooth and that she is going to be fine.

She kept saying she was sad. That it hurt. That she missed it. Asked if it was going to hurt when it grows back. Asking questions about the tooth fairy. Ugh it just went on and on...

So this is sorta what I said.

(With a big excited smile and voice!)

Wow Jazmine you lost your first tooth! We need to take a picture (jazmine sad and crying in front of me)!

I was wiping tears off her face and taking pictures trying to cheer her up.

Then I said "Guess what?! You get to put your tooth under your pillow and the tooth fairy is going to take it and give you money."

She said "will my tooth come back after that?"

I said something along the lines of yes but it will take time to grow back. Then she said "Will it hurt..." Me answering as best as possible...just a lil but I don't remember because it was a long time ago.

She was questioning me left and right and I couldn't answer her enough to get her to stop.

So then I said,"Well you get jello now!" It's nice and soft and fun!" Yup from questions to jello just like that. Had to distract her!!! Hahaha!

Anyways now I gotta look up fun stuff about tooth fairies and see what I can tell her.

Anyways she is beckoning for her jello. I need to see if its ready yet. Yup we made it from a box. Didn't buy it pre-set.

A spur of the moment hike!

I woke up this morning with my son very early and then headed to work. No other plans for the day other then to get an electric breast pump.

After picking up Jazzy from school my friend was going to go hiking with a new friend of hers.

I didn't want to waste away the day inside. The weather was a lovely and I made a spur of the moment decision to go hiking as well.

I was not fully prepared as the weather became chilled quickly...and defiantly was not prepared for the hike that was soon to come.

With my Ergo baby carrier I was able to conquer the hike and the insane steep steep incline of a massive rock.

I made it to the top of the Chickies Ridge rock near the Susquehanna River. It was a great triumph and my daughter even made it to the top as well. Nervous scared and cold but she fought through and hiked like a pro!
